2004 was the first year for our Volunteer Leader Program, and the stellar volunteers who have come forward and been chosen to run the fundraising program up at camp have given up personal time to come to monthly FoCM meetings and special training - not to mention the time that is donated while at camp. In return for their guaranteed reservations, your VL's give up personal vacation time at camp. Naturalists also generously serve their fellow campers with joy and commitment. 2002
$14k was raised with xeroxed raffle tickets over the course of the summer by one volunteer who was also standing in as the assistant Rec Director. Claudia recruited her to revive the friends group which had been reduced to a single member, Shirley Barisone.
2003
A casual system, campers offered to sell tickets and shirts, and Claudia the manager found volunteers.
