Please participate in Coastal Clean Up Day 2019
It's Saturday, September 21st and former camp manager and current General Store manager Claudia Reinhart is organizing a clean up effort at Mori Point Beach.
Join her and other friends of Camp Mather for a few important hours of taking care of our planet.
Why Mori Point Beach?
It collects a lot of litter from the ocean and supports a lot of wild life. It’s a beautiful beach and a beautiful walk to get to it. Its also a great bike riding and birding area.
Directions and Instructions
Mori Point Beach is located at the southern end of Sharp Park Beach. Enter from the Fairway Park Neighborhood. MAP
Park along Fairway Drive and walk west to the entrance to Mori Point GGNRA. You will find me there with Litter Pick-UP and collection supplies at the trail head. (You are welcome to bring your own buckets and gloves).
Claudia will be there from 9:00 to 9:30 and then will be walking out to the beach to pick up litter, too. She will return to the collection point at 11:00.
Besides the main trail to the beach and the beach, there are other trails in Mori Point that would love some attention if you wish to venture further. Bring the whole family for a fun morning. Don’t forget to wear your Camp Mather duds.
